MAGIC

Magic comes in two flavours as Fuzzy or Graham Benson. If you want a combination of juggling and magic for all the family then go for Fuzzy. On the other hand if you are going for the more sophisticated look then Graham is your man.

Graham And Fuzzy

STAGE
Fuzzy normally does a ¾ hour show, the hour is completed either by warming up the audience with a bit of close up. Or I follow the show with games, or balloons depending on the size of audience. The length of the show can be adjusted to suit your requirements. The magic is full of audience participation, kids and adults coming up to help make things disappear and re-appear in the most unlikely places. The tricks are not just demonstrated but full of funny antics and jokes. This is the set up used for most events. Most of the time people want me to do a mixture of juggling and magic, this I believe makes for a better show. Please let me know if you wish just magic.

When booking Fuzzy please let me know the age range and numbers as this does effect the props I bring. I have worked in nurseries and the show has gone down well. The youngest age group I would recommend is 4. This is not a strict rule. As long as the majority of the group is 4 or older the show will work. Fuzzy does not paint his face as a lot of children and adults are scared of clown faces.

CLOSE UP / WALK A BOUT / TABLE HOPPING

Close up - some times called street magic - is when I walk around doing magic to small groups of people. This is a more intimate form of magic everything is done close up totally surrounded. In my opinion this is the most pure form of magic: no trick cards and using every day objects, e.g. pens, borrowed coins, pieces of rope. It is ideal for shopping centres, gala days, or places where people cannot commit time to sitting down and watching a full show.

Close up can also be used for table-hopping. This is when I go around tables performing while people are having their meal. The magic performed is short and strong, leaving the best impact possible. Fuzzy can also make people at the table balloon models.

GRAHAM'S SHOW

Graham performs more complex magic than Fuzzy, for a more sophisticated audience. I mainly perform as Graham for adult and corporate events. The magic may take several twists and turns before the climax. I have often had my humour described as dry. I still don’t know what that means, but people laugh. When booking Graham you can have him performing both stage and close up. The stage show will normally be about ¾ of an hour. If you require a shorter or longer show then I will adapt it to suit your requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

I am as self contained as possible. The only requirements are a 13amp socket for the PA. The P.A. is a 200amp system; it is normally adequate for small to medium size halls up to 400 seated people. I also use a headset radio microphone. If you require me to use your system them I require a ¼ inch jack socket for the radio microphone. A place to change and a place to store my prop box is nice but not essential. It can be left in the car.
